Hearing: Platinumgames will be shown by Nier: Automata this year

The creation of Platinumgames immediately became a real innovative project, and an excellent gameplay, a chic atmosphere and an excellent artistic approach to the narrative and sound made it one of the best generation games.

Since then, millions of players met the world of Nier, and themselves The series can rightfully be considered one of the most popular Square Enix franchises thanks to the Universe, which is adored throughout the gaming industry. Now the IP is approaching its 15th anniversary, and it seems that there is not so much time left before a major announcement.

So, Daniel Camilo from Gamesindustry said that he has internal information about the next The Platinumgames project, which, according to him, is working on the “continuation of Nier: Automata” and is going to announce the game this year. So far, nothing is known about the game itself, although it is assumed that it is being prepared for the exit in 2027, if the company adheres to the same strategy as in the case of Automata.

Of course, the information is not supported by any official sources. Neither Square Enix nor Platinumgames themselves did not comment on the Nier sequel: Automata, limiting themselves to only small hints and vague statements, therefore, despite the greater probability, it is better to wait for official statements from companies about the future fate of the series.
