The authors of The Elder Scrolls announced a new open-world project The Wayward Realms

More than a year ago it became known that the original Bethesda studios, who worked on the first parts of the The Elder Scrollsseries, founded their own studio Once Lost Games. They announced their debut project, the open-world RPG The Wayward Realms.

ESO portal interviewed key members of the studio: Ted Peterson, who created a significant part of The Elder Scrolls mythology, programmer, game designer and musician Julian le Fay, and director, lead designer and executive producer The Elder Scrolls: Arena ;Vijay Lakshmana.

The creators of The Wayward Realms assured that the game is created according to the same canons as The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. However, it uses the most modern technologies and mechanics.

The Wayward Realms will take place in an open world consisting of hundreds of islands. And one of the most important aspects of the work is appropriate scaling so that the scale of the environment looks realistic.

The game world will be inhabited by many factions that are at odds or cooperate with each other. And the player will be given the opportunity to choose how to build relationships with them and what decisions to make.
